The team and I played well, tying or winning 50% of games and only losing by a point when losing. I had many assists and several goals over the course of the weekend and stepped up my defense and re-defend play over the tournament play.

I may have overcommitted to helping out the 2017 team. I ended up playing 4 games per day each day. The weekend was a hot one and 4 games was a lot. My morning games were far better played than the afternoon ones for the 2017 games.

Results Information:

IWLCA Showcase, the team played well and won 50% of games. Morning games were definitely better played as it was near 100 degrees and some games were on turf.

The team played very well. The top 4 teams consisted of all committed athletes including an all Duke team, an all Stanford team, HLA, and Hero's which were comprised of all East Coast college commits.

Team 180 '18 was proud to finish 5th overall out of 28 teams finishing only after those 4 teams mentioned above.

I started on defense for all but one half of one game of the tournament. This was where the team needed me and I gained valuable time and skills on defense. I came back much more solid on D then when I went out.

Team 180 Black went 4-1 in pool and lost our only game by one point. I had multiple takeaways and interceptions and focused on making fast transitions.
