Cole Krawczyk is a unique hybrid player that can legitimately help a program at first base, in the outfield and on the mound. He is a third-generation player, both his father and grandfather played professional baseball. He is tall and still growing into his body. I have coached Cole in various capacities as a youth and on the club circuit into HS. One of Cole’s biggest strengths is as a baserunner. His long stride and instincts are difference makers. Cole was a multisport athlete in HS and one of the youngest players in his 2021 class. Like many players, the more he plays the better he plays. Cole is just coming into his own as he's been a 2 sport athlete dividing his time between baseball and swimming. He has great size and has gained a lot in the past year with height, weight and strength. Good athlete with an average delivery that he continues to improve upon weekly. Arm speed continues to improve as well as he's gaining velo and good angle on his pitches. Has feel to spin the ball and to take velo off with his CH. Still developing, but very coachable and continues to just simply get better. Cole is a two way player as he also can play 1B/3B and OF if needed. Athletic enough to play all. Solid base runner and has instincts for the game. Good approach at the plate with avg to tic above avg bat speed. Ball comes off bat really well with line drive plane that has the ability to produce power from a corner position. I know Cole to be a quiet, hard worker that is determined to continue to put the work in to be the best player he can be. I'd classify Cole as a late bloomer that if and when given the chance to prove what he's capable of he will rise to the occasion. Cole Krawczyk is currently a Senior at Arcadia High School in Phoenix, Arizona. He will graduate in 2021 and at the time carries a 3.1 GPA. Cole shows a great amount of respect and coachability, as well as the fortitude to work tirelessly on his game, both in the cage and in the weight room. I think what is most desirable about his makeup is the fact that he is still on the upward trajectory of reaching his true ability on the diamond…he has the chance to become a special find for any college program.
