Helping Junior Golfers Successfully Execute their College Game Plan
San Diego, CA – SportsForce has partnered with Future Champions Golf to help amateur golfers, who aspire to play college golf, maximize their recruiting and scholarship opportunities. Founded by former college athletes and coaches, SportsForce evaluates potential college prospects across their athletic and academic potential and then personalizes each college recruiting game plan to match their family’s college goals.
There is a lot of confusion surrounding the college recruiting process, so SportsForce focuses on offering a personalized and comprehensive college game plan for families to follow. The goal is threefold: 1.) to save families a lot of money by avoiding unnecessary, excessive or ineffective recruiting gimmicks, 2.) to help generate interest from college coaches at viewing tournaments and, 3.) to personally mentor junior golfers in creating and sustaining direct dialogue and meaningful relationships with college coaches, which is one of the keys to securing college offers.
As part of the partnership, SportsForce will educate and empower golf players and parents with world-class quality college golf recruiting workshops at select Future Champions Golf events. SportsForce will also provide ongoing recruiting advice, strategies, and guidance through 1-on-1 college golf evaluation phone calls, educational materials and access to our college planning and recruiting resources.
Over the last 8+ years, SportsForce has successfully assisted hundreds of families with their college game plans. Through the years, they have found that many families need help with more than just recruiting. It’s also important to focus on how the academic, athletic and financial goals and status impact the entire college planning and selection process.
Andrew Beinbrink, the CEO of SportsForce and former four-time All-American at ASU, says “with the competitiveness of the college admissions process, student-athletes and parents are using sports as a vehicle to get into the best colleges they possibly can. A recruited student-athlete has a tremendous advantage in the admissions process over the normal student.”
Founded in 2004 by PGA Teaching Professional Chris Smeal, Future Champions Golf has been focused on helping junior golfers take their game to the next level. Realizing there was a huge void for top junior golf coaching, no premier tournament programs or tools to help players prepare for college golf, Chris dedicated himself to provide that complete system for youth golfers. “I want to make the game of golf more exciting for kids and spark each players’ love for the game. For the serious players, we can help them and their parents take their game to the college level.”
About SportsForce: Over the last 5 years, SportsForce has helped over 1,000 student-athletes and their families successfully navigate the college recruiting and athletic scholarship process while saving families on average $50,000 in college expenses. SportsForce’s mission is to help student-athletes find the college that’s the best all-around fit for them and their family while maximizing their college recruiting and scholarship opportunities.
