1. Why did you decide to sign with the University of Tampa?

The University of Tampa competes for a national championship yearly. The coaching staff is phenomenal and the athletes are talented and dedicated. After visiting several schools I knew UT was the right fit for me based on the campus size and team dynamics.

2. Describe the excitement you feel about becoming a college student-athlete?

I was fortunate to end my club season with a national championship. That excitement has carried over into my pre-season conditioning. I continue to work hard, so that I have the opportunity to make an immediate impact. I have had the chance to get to know my teammates during camps and we all get along great. I am looking forward to working towards another national championship. Taking classes that are specific to my degree is another amazing opportunity. I am ready to take the next step of my life as a college student.

3. What advice would you give to other athletes looking to get recruited?

I highly recommend that recruits visit numerous schools and make their decision based on what is best for them and not what others think is best for them.

4. Who has been the biggest influence in your sports career and why?

My parents have been the biggest influence in my sports career because they have supported me in all my athletic endeavors. Both my parents were athletes, so they understand the demands. My dad was my basketball coach growing up and when I decided to play volleyball my mom spent hours in the gym working with me. My parents have promoted lessons and personal training to ensure I was in the best shape to compete. Most importantly, they are always there in the stands to cheer me on.

5. What would you like to accomplish during your college sports career?

I would like to make an instant impact on the program and play for a national championship all 4 years.

1. Why did you decide to sign with State Fair College?

It’s a small college in Sedalia, MO with a 25:1 faculty to student ratio. I believe I’ll get a lot of one-on-one time with the professors, as well as focus more on my sports career. I also decided on going here because I want to travel and study business, which is why I’ll be majoring in business international (they have that option for me). Finally, I decided to go here because I received a full ride basketball scholarship.

2. Describe the excitement you feel about becoming a college student-athlete?

It feels extremely surreal, because I’ve always considered myself an elite athlete, but to get the opportunity to play in college is one of the best feelings.

3. What advice would you give to other athletes looking to get recruited?

The best advice I believe I can give to other athletes is, do not depend on your coaches and school counselors. You should go online and make an online profile and go from there. As you continue with your online searches you will learn more and more about different colleges and began filling out sport questionnaires.

4. Who has been the biggest influence in your sports career and why?

My father has been the biggest influence in my sports career because he was a student-athlete. He has been supportive of my sports career since I’ve been playing. I also believe he was a huge influence, because he gave me the confidence to play sports. He would tell me when I didn’t do well, and then take me to the park to work on my weaknesses. He inspired me to become the best!

5. What would you like to accomplish during your college sports career?

During my college sports career, I would like to see myself stepping out of my comfort zone. If the coach asks me to play a position I don’t really play, I would like to see myself taking on the challenge and become a better player. If I get the chance, I want learn how to play all positions.

I’m so pumped to play on a team where every player is dedicated and works hard to get the best results. My team will be like my family away from home, and I look forward to bonding with my teammates and also kicking butt on the field.

3. What advice would you give to other athletes looking to get recruited?

If you want to be recruited you have to put yourself out there. I played on a club team for a summer, which is how I was recruited. Even if you can’t afford to play club, there are tons of websites that you can make a profile and ask coaches to look at you.

4. Who has been the biggest influence in your sports career and why?

My biggest influence would be my club coach Jessica Livingston. She taught me not only to work hard, but to also the love the sport. She is the reason I’m playing in college. She always pushed me past what I thought was my limit. I thank her all the time for opening my eyes to what I was missing out on.

5. What would you like to accomplish during your college sports career?

I want to make an impact on the people around me and also those who know I’m playing in college. I want to push myself to be the best lacrosse player people have seen. I want to be a player that my teammates can count on. I want to be the best I can be and enjoy the opportunity I’ve been given.

1. Why did you decide to sign with Nicholls State University?

After weighing my options and comparing the good vs. bad I decided Nicholls State had the best offer for me. I will be starting as a true freshman at linebacker and special teams. I am close to home so there are no out of state fees. The school is smaller; therefore I will get more one-on-one time with the coaching staff. The coaches are genuinely concerned with my academics and overall it was the best pick for me. I feel like it was a win-win situation. I get to play as a freshman and I have a full scholarship.

2. Describe the excitement you feel about becoming a college student-athlete?

I cannot describe how excited I am to be able to continue playing football at the next level. This is something I live for and to go to the next level is just wonderful. I can’t sleep sometimes thinking about it. I am ready to get on campus and get started.

3. What advice would you give to other athletes looking to get recruited?

I would say first and foremost keep your grades up. Be a student first and then an athlete. I would say stay humble and sincere about playing ball; respect your coaches and the game. Be a good leader and example for your teammates. Stay focused and in shape.

4. Who has been the biggest influence in your sports career and why?

My coach Michael Roach. He took me under his wing and basically nurtured me. He made sure I kept my grades up and stayed focused. He spent a lot of extra time with me getting me into good football camps and getting me exposed to the right people. He was there even if I just needed a man to talk tom, being that I am raised in a single parent home by my mother who did a wonderful job. He lives by what he preaches and I respect him for that. He is a great role model.

5. What would you like to accomplish during your college sports career?

To be the best football player and teammate I can be and to make a mark so when I leave I will be remembered at Nicholls State. Also, to receive my degree and, of course, to go to the NFL.

The advice I will give prospects that are going to be recruited is to stay focus and be patient with the future. God has blessings for everyone and if you stay focus and aggressive now, your future will be bright.

4. Who has been the biggest influence in your sports career and why?

I think my mother has been my greatest influence in my sports career because she carries a hard-working and independent attitude that serves as an example in my life. She’s a role model for a person like me and I love her for being there for me.

1. Why did you decide to sign with Daytona State College? I was talking with the coaches back and forth for a while after I went to a showcase at Daytona State, toured some of the campuses and learned about the program, I knew it was a good place to start my baseball career and education. After I had Tommy John surgery on June 30, 2011, they were one of the very few schools that still stayed in touch with me and checked out how my rehab was going, so I felt comfortable with them from the beginning of the recruiting process. 2. Describe the excitement you feel about becoming a college student-athlete? It really is such a blessing. Everyone dreams of playing in that next level and for me to be able to have a chance to play in college, after missing my senior year injured, it’s truly overwhelming at times. 3. What advice would you give to other athletes looking to get recruited? All I can say is play like every game is your last, go the extra mile, run when others aren’t, stay positive if something isn’t going your way and have a short memory. Mistakes are made when your mind isn’t on the task at hand. Also, being willing to go up to a coach and initiate a conversation or introducing yourself in a professional way really makes an impact. 4. Who has been the biggest influence in your sports career and why? It would have to be my father. He was an All-American athlete when he was in high school for soccer and baseball and played both sports exceptionally well at Rollins College in Winter Park. He knows what it takes to get to the next level and he put all of the time he could into helping me get where I am today. When I didn’t want to work he pushed me to get out there and keep getting better. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have made it past little league without his coaching and motivation. 5. What would you like to accomplish during your college sports career? Staying healthy and having a quality education that is paid for. I love baseball, but I was raised to know my education comes first. After coming off major surgery, staying healthy is my main focus and the success will come with the hard work I put in each and every day.   Our Mission at SportsForce Baseball: We are on a mission to help our select number of qualified and evaluated players maximize their recruiting offers and make the best college decision. 1. Why did you decide to sign with Sterling College?

The reason I chose Sterling College was not for the money, campus size or the size of the stadium. I chose Sterling because of the sense of community and family I witnessed on campus. The coaches looked at me as a person, instead of just an athletic instrument.

By the end of my collegiate athletic career I would like to achieve a couple of things. First, I would like to grow in my faith and become a stronger man of God. I would also like to use college sports to build long lasting friendships and memories that I will always remember.
