Recommendation: I have had the pleasure of coaching Raquel Ganino for the past 3 years. Over that time I have watched Raquel emerge as one of the top 2016 lacrosse prospects in Southern CA - in time I am sure she will be regarded as one of the top 2016 prospects in the Western US. Raquel joined Pacific Falcons as an outstanding athlete, but she has worked hard and is now a top lacrosse player - one with a ton of upside. Raquel has been to several national elite events and has proven herself repeatedly. This winter she will participate in the Presidents Cup and Sandstorm events in advance of her second CIF season with La Costa Canyon (defending San Diego CIF Champions - Raquel played and started most games as a freshman). Her continued maturation, coaching, and practice will ready her for an impressive summer club season - one that will include IWLCA events (Western Cup, Capital Cup) as well as All Star events (WDNT, UnderArmor) & targeted camps.

And while I am so happy with Raquel as a player & leader on the field, she is a wonderful person/teammate off the field. She has the support of a great family and stays involved in her community. Raquel continues to work diligently in school as she plans to play NCAA lacrosse at a top academic institution. Her leadership/personality has been pivotal in building a true 2016 TEAM, comprised of players from varied programs in Southern California.
