PERSONAL STATEMENT
I absolutely love being a student athlete. There is always a sense of accomplishment, and will to do well. I work hard in school because I know I have to to play volleyball, go to college, play volleyball in college, and to have a successful future where I love what I do and make money to support those I love. I am a go-getter, stop at nothing, chase your dreams kind of a girl. I always strive for my best. I am so happy I play volleyball. It has taught me much more than I ever could have imagine

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: I play the position of setter currently but I have experience in each position. I am playing Libero for my High School Varsity Team. I have a deep, seam serve and can also serve short. I have great timing and hand eye coordination. I also have speed, endurance, and I can think fast. I base who I set off of many different factors. I take into account where the other teams blockers are, who has been hitting consistently while putting pressure on the team, along with who is ready out of serve receive or defense, height of the pass to run quick or slower set. I don't believe in giving up or quitting. I am all about the struggle that leads to the future success.

I am an extremely competitive player. I believe that hard work is the only work. I am a 100% team player and I do not let mistakes get in my head or affect my play. I simply move on and work extra hard to make sure it won't happen again. I feel it is better to lose knowing that as a team we gave it our all than to lose knowing that we beat ourselves. I cannot stress enough how dedicated and focused I am. I am all about keeping a positive attitude and encouraging my team mates on and off the court. I am a consistent player within all the key points of attitude, respect, personal duty on the court, communication, and effort. Not only do I expect the best of myself and putting in full effort but also my teammates. I love when everybody is invested into the game and coming together as a team, feeling the connection as we all work together. I love the team dynamic through competing and working towards the common goal of playing our best. I get really excited over long rallies but especially excited when I set my hitters and they jump and get a kill. I feel a lot of energy on the court that gets me pumped too. I love leading and I get really intense. I love the way our club has taught us to put pressure on the other teams. One of my favorite things is stepping on the court and challenging the other teams to do their best. If you are going to beat my team you are going to do it at your best.
Nothing keeps me going and playing the sport like a great team with the same goal in mind. Volleyball is my life and I wouldn't wish for it to be any different than that.

Other activites and interests: Volleyball is my passion. I also enjoy working out (all the time), jui jitsu, spending time with family and friends, sketching
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: Each of my coaches have taught me a lot and have helped me to become the athlete I am today. I remember the importance in their words. Not just current coaches but any coach whether it be a clinic or a full season team. I have a lot of respect and gratitude towards coaches who are going out of there way to give us knowledge to make us achieve our personal goals.

My teammates are the best girls I have ever met.
