PERSONAL STATEMENT
Derek Jeter once said, “There may be people that have more talent than you, but there is no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.” This has become my philosophy in all aspects of my life. I am committed to being a hard worker whether it being working my tail off in academics to receive an A in mandarin 2, blocking ball after ball in the dirt as a catcher or spending hours in the gym and cage every week. On an individual level, the game has taught me dedication and perseverance. More importantly, No matter what team I am playing for I am always fired up to be on the field or in the gym with a group of guys trying to get better at the game.
