PERSONAL STATEMENT
Not just in baseball, but in the real world, I've realized that nothing comes easy. Being a student-athlete is not an easy task. It takes hard work and dedication when on the field and in the classroom. I accept any challenge put in front of me and will try my best to complete the task. I lead by example through my actions and will always push my teammates to do the same.

Recommendation: Over the past three years, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Tyler Scaff through the myriad ways that he contributes to the school and community of East Hanover. During the past three years, I served as his football coach and had my first impression of his leadership when he was a sophomore. As a team leader, he sets the tone of quality through his exceptional performance on the field of play and constant dedication in practice. As I got to know him the past three years he is a person of high character, who is looked-up to by his peers, and well liked by the faculty.

Tyler is not only an outstanding athlete, but is also an exceptional student and a valued member of his school. His hard work and commitment have developed him into a model student. He is also very active in school, participating in various organizations including FBLA, Computer Programming Club, Varsity Club, and is a member of the Varsity Baseball team. In addition he also devotes is time in the community.

Whether leading others or fulfilling various commitments at school, Tyler Scaff is always striving to make a difference and he does. He knows the rewards of hard work and values of service. Without a doubt, he is one of the finest young men I have ever coached.
