PERSONAL STATEMENT
I didn’t really know how much I loved baseball until it was taken away from me due to injury. I had to fight through a lot to get back to where I am today and through that unfortunate circumstance I became tougher mentally and physically. I worked harder at school and even harder at being a good teammate which I place a high value on. I love all the little things that much more now; practice, being in the dugout with the guys, raking the mound and especially taking the hill. I especially look forward to the opportunity to challenge myself at the next level being a serious student athlete.
