It is my pleasure to write this letter endorsing Saben Lee.

I have watched Saben develop both on and off the court the last two years as a member of our basketball program. Saben is an outstanding student and athlete who possesses many impressive qualities. He is a very motivated and hardworking individual. He takes criticism well, and he works hard to improve himself. He understands that academics come first and most important while also dedicating himself to the hours it takes to be a great basketball player.

Saben is a high character person. He is very thoughtful, kind, considerate and compassionate. He is liked and respected by his teammates, coaches, faculty, administration and fellow students. Saben is a tremendous role model on campus and in the community as to what a student-athlete should represent.

I have been fortuante in my time as coach at Corona Del Sol to have had 7 college pooint guards, five of which were Division 1 players and one a NAIA All American. I can safely say that Saben has the same qualities those players possessed. Saben has a passion to be a great player and he brings that passion on to the court every day. He works hard every day in practice, is very competitive and has a strong desire to do whatever it takes to win. He possesses explosive quickness, handles the ball very well, defends at a high level and knows how to score. He also possesses a very good basketball IQ and is learning what it takes to be a lead guard.

As Saben continues to work on his skills and develop physically into his body over the next two years, I feel he will have a chance to be a very good college basketball player. I feel that he will put the work in that is required to play at the next level and I am excited to watch him develop.
