PERSONAL STATEMENT
I enjoy being a student athlete. In lacrosse, especially as a Faceoff specialist, focus is an important part of the game. Lacrosse has helped me learn how to focus under stressful conditions like school. I hope to use this focus to excel in lacrosse and academics in my high school and college career.

Recommendation: I have had the pleasure of coaching Jack Pharies for 2 years now. He is the definition of a workhorse player, always willing to leave it all on the field and do anything that is needed for his team. Any college coach that were to give Jack an opportunity would in my opinion getting a player that not only make your program better skill wise but character wise. Jacks field-specific qualities include being a constant threat to create offense and scoring opportunities off of a face-off, in transition, and between the boxes at the midfield. Jack routinely comes up with the 50/50 groundballs that are often critical possessions for our team in tight games. He understands high level offensive and defensive concepts and knows how to execute different slide packages versus multiple offenses and how to set up the defense against various transition plays. His stick skills are something that are very underestimated as he is a threat to score in a settled offense, can handle the ball and finish in tight spaces and score from the outside. I would expect nothing less for him to continue that blue-collar, hard-nosed style of play in college. As a program director, Jack is the type of player that makes my life easier and I put my program behind Jack as a player and person, if given an opportunity Jack will not disappoint. Feel free to contact me on his behalf with any other questions regarding Jack Pharies.
Additional Information: In addition to Program Director of 395 Starz, I am the head lacrosse coach of Fallbrook High School and Defensive Coordinator for Cal State San Marcos (MCLA).
