PERSONAL STATEMENT
I only took up baseball at the age of 12 and quickly fell in love with the game. The opportunity to work with teammates to overcome challenges has been a great learning experience throughout my high school career. My goal is to find a college where I can get a world class education and continue to play and learn this incredible game at a higher level.
Describe Your Playing Style?: |
I practice and play hard from the moment I step on the field, running everywhere and encouraging my teammates. My own performance is important, but how the team performs is the most important thing. I try to pick up my teammates whenever I can and am always looking at the next pitch and play instead of worrying about what happened before. Baseball is a really hard game to play and encouraging each other works wonders. |

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: |
Paul Konerko - my family are White Sox fans and Konerko was the first player who really impressed me. He was a strong hitter and fielder and was a very steady player who came through in the clutch. Paul hit a home run in the first major league game I ever went to which was really fun.
Dustin Pedroia - his scrappy, take no prisoners style of play is great to watch. |
About Me: |
I am a serious student - athlete who takes pride in these two areas of my life. I am close to my extended family and have a many friends on and off the field. High school has been a wonderful experience and I very much look forward the challenges ahead in college. |
