PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am not a flashy player but rather get the job done. Fielding is my passion. Hitting; I always find a way on base. I play my best when I can get in my zone before a game and let my instincts take over. I have experienced a few health setbacks with the most significant being a broken leg early in the season Sophomore year. While the injury set my Varsity goals back, I spent the summer and Fall of Junior year rehabbing, and getting stronger. As a result, I played this 2018 season on my JV team and look forward to playing Varsity this year.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Describe Your Playing Style?: I play as hard as I can and control the aspects that I can control like body language, focus or intensity.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Derek Jeter, David Eckstein
Other activites and interests: Most of my activities surround sports like football or hockey with friends. I love the outdoors and love nature. My greatest passion though is Baseball.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: My Dad is the biggest influence on my career. He has always helped me along the way with anything I need. If I need to throw, he will throw. If I need to hit, he will throw to me. Ultimately, he has been a moral guide for me throughout my life. He played baseball himself, and he has always taught me to never give up on a dream just because I'm small or had experienced a setback. Mostly I am thankful for him teaching me to never offer excuses but rather to just work hard and the rest will take care of itself. My dad always held me accountable for all of my actions which is how it works in this world.
About Me: I am the youngest of two kids. My older brother Michael is 22 and he means the world to me. I love being with family. Something you should know is that I am shy at first but once you get to know me I open up. One of the things I love about being on a team is the family created that you have, and are with every day. My faith is important to me and I am a servant leader at my church. I lead retreats for high school students. Recently I was awarded the Red Cross Youth Hero Award 2018 for assisting in the rescue of two individuals from a burning car. This experience, while at the time seems like a natural thing to do, has changed the way I look at human nature and how fragile life can be.
