PERSONAL STATEMENT
There's nothing I love more than being a student-athlete and being able to represent my high school when I'm out there playing the game I love. My early academic struggles were hard, but once I was diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADD and overcame it, it made me a better baseball player. Baseball has shaped me to who I am today without a doubt. It makes me want to work harder for what I want, it pushes me in the classroom and overall it makes me better as a person.

Describe Your Playing Style?: When I'm pitching I try to force contact early and not fall behind the batter. When I get ahead I don't like to be picky around the corners, but instead change their eye level with different speeds. I'm confident in all my pitches to get me back into counts and get the out. I compete every time I'm on the mound. Whether it's going my way or not I don't give in and battle.

Other activites and interests: Away from the diamond, I love nothing more than cooking a great meal for anyone that loves good food and to see the satisfied look on their face after the first bite. When I’m not on the mound or cooking, I like to take my mind off baseball for a few hours and find someone to go play a relaxing round of golf with.
