PERSONAL STATEMENT
Being a student athlete is most of my high school life. Though separately they aren't bad, to me, being an athlete is nothing if I'm not getting it done in the classroom. Being an athlete prepares me for many challenges in life but also being a student keeps me in the right mind set and prepares me for college. I'm ready to be a student, and an athlete at the next level.

Recommendation: Garret just finished out his Junior season. He started at Catcher, 3rd base, outfield, and DH for us this year on Varsity. He is a very aggressive player with solid instincts. He plays beyond his years. He is also a very good football player with good athleticism. He knows the game and is not afraid to motivate his teammates. He has plus speed on the bases and in the field (6.9 - 60yrd. dash). He also has with a plus arm from the outfield with a quick pop time behind the dish. He is a low 2 pop time, 2.09, and sometimes high 1.9s. He is an awesome leader that leads by example. Can play multiple positions, and play all of them well. Very versitile. Garret has good Good power to all fields, and is a gap-to-gap hitter. He has the body, work ethic, determination, and baseball ability to compete, play, and succeed at the next level.

Recommendation: Garret is a projectable athlete who is very versatile. He can pitch, catch and play pretty much any position. He has good pop in his bat. Recommendation: Garret can play all 9 positions on the field and he will do so with more effort and energy than most players you will ever coach. Garret is athletic and continues to improve. I haven't seen his ceiling yet and believe he will be a catcher when it comes time for him to commit to a 4 year College. Garret already possesses high leadership skills. His baseball instincts are very good and improving. . . but best of all, he understands very clearly that what he does on and off the baseball field is for the benefit of the greater whole. . . and this is his TEAM.
