My passion is baseball and competing at the highest level possible. I work hard on the field and in the classroom. Being with teammates that want to battle on every pitch is the perfect environment for me as a competitor. My plan is to work hard every day and enjoy the process of becoming the best player and person I can be.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: Eddie Lacy: I've always loved Eddie Lacy because of the fight that he shows on every play. He's had to overcome some difficult obstacles and he seems to do that with a great attitude towards his teammates and life. My other favorite athletes are Michael Jordan, Mike Trout and Andrew McCutchen. They are examples of elite superstars who always strive to get better.
Other activites and interests: Fishing, hiking, fantasy football and working out.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: God, my family and my hitting coach are the biggest influences on my sports career. They have had the most impact because they have been there for me through the highs and lows and continue to believe in me. I've been fortunate to be blessed continually with great coaches in my life who inspire me to do my best.
