PERSONAL STATEMENT
I believe it is important to be a student athlete because it teaches many important skills you might not learn as early in life if you did not play sports. Strengths such as teamwork, responsibility, resilience, manners and organization are all things I've learned through the challenging but rewarding life of being a student athlete.
Describe Your Playing Style?: |
My playing style is playing like it's the last pitch I will ever throw. Throughout my basebalI career I have always played with older and bigger competition, so that has led to me always trying to prove myself. Whether it's a practice or a game, I am always trying to be better than the guy next to me. |

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: |
My favorite athletes include Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Marcus Stroman, Carson Fulmer, Clayton Kershaw, and Kobe Bryant. |
Other activites and interests: |
When I am not playing baseball or studying, I am working with the Young Men's Service League. YMSL is a national service organization bringing busy mothers and sons together via philanthropic involvement in their community. |
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: |
The biggest influence in my sports career has hands down been my dad. He has taught me how to have the drive to become the best person I can be on the field as well as off. He has carved out countless hours in his life to just do things such as throw me batting practice or even coach me in various sports from the ages of 4 to 13 and I am forever thankful for that. |
About Me: |
I am from Menlo Park, California. I am a rising junior at Menlo-Atherton High School and I am a left-handed pitcher on their varsity baseball team. |
