PERSONAL STATEMENT
Baseball has made a huge impact on my life both on and off the field. My goal is to play baseball for as long as I can until I am physically not able to play anymore. I love to challenge myself whenever and however I can whether it's with baseball or school. I am a determined athlete that will stop at nothing to play baseball. Being the first person in my family with the chance to attend college in the United States gives me an even greater drive to succeed as a student-athlete and product

PERSONAL INFORMATION		  
Describe Your Playing Style?: I am an aggressive player with a never quit attitude. I always go 100% in anything I do, whether it is baseball, soccer, or water polo. I know how to run a great game behind the plate and I would say that is one of my best traits right now as a catcher. As well as running a great game, I rarely let any balls pass me. I can also get borderline balls to be called as strikes for my pitchers as well as getting that low ball for a strike. As a hitter, I send the ball to the opposite field most of the time and in the gaps as well. I have decent speed and a good arm to second.

Favorite Athlete(s) and why?: My favorite athlete at the moment would probably be Yasiel Puig because he is just interesting to watch an you never know what he is going to do. I admire his arm strength as well as his 110% effort for any ball that is within the stadium.
Other activites and interests: I like to snowboard and love to hike with my family in the mountains as well as playing the Steel Drums with my school band. I also enjoy playing soccer as it keeps me in shape and increases my speed.
Who's been the biggest influence on my sports career and why?: My biggest influence on my sports career right now would be my dad because he is always pushing and helping me train harder to my benefit. He believes that I can do anything if I put my mind to it and he always is there for me when I am having a rough day.
About Me: I am currently volunteering in the Providence Hospital in Tarzana helping the doctors and nurses with lab specimens, discharging patients, and checking in on patients and asking them if they need anything. I am also part of the Steel Drums band at my school. We partake in many concerts during the school year in many different places.
