It is a pleasure to have Bennett Allen in my high school baseball program. I have known Bennett for the past four years. When I first met Bennett I was impressed with his maturity. He struck me as a bright young man and asked questions about his swing mechanics that most kids his age would not even think about. He also demonstrated a determination to excel in his craft. He is a hard worker and participates in all the opportunities presented to him to improve. Bennett has performed at every level of high school ball. He shows up every day with a smile on his face and a strong work ethic. He is very coachable and will provide feedback to me or his teammates when appropriate or needed. If things are not going his way, I do not see him get down or complain. He just works through them and makes his adjustments. What has impressed me the most during this abbreviated varsity season, is his mental toughness. While at the plate, he never gives in. He will grind out his at bats against very good pitching, and more times than not he wins the battle. He stays within his strengths and does not try to do too much at the plate. He is very consistent and does not show any fear while in the batter’s box. His only start on the mound resulted in a win. Our scheduled starter was scratched before the game with arm pain. Thirty minutes before game time, Bennett was told he was pitching. He gladly took the ball and pitched a fabulous five innings. He definitely showed mental toughness that day. In the classroom he also excels. He is taking advanced classes and doing well in all of them. He is carrying a 4.63 grade point average. His teachers often comment about how much of a pleasure he is in class. He gets along with all his classmates and has a great attitude about life. This is truly one time I cannot say anything negative about an individual. Well, there is one thing. He is not Italian. I strongly recommend your decision to consider Bennett for admittance to your school. He will represent your institution well. The quote he lives by says it all about Bennett. “Right is right even if everyone is against it and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.” Bennett is a class act and a very respectful young man. This could possibly be the easiest request to complete as I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. Bennett Allen. I first met Bennett when he was seven years old. My husband had the opportunity to coach Bennett over the years in his early baseball career. As such, I've seen Bennett on and off the field and through his childhood development, Bennett has always had a sense of calm and responsibility to him. Bennett possess integrity, honesty, loyalty, respectfulness, responsibility, compassion, fairness, accountability, trustworthiness, optimism and gratitude. To whom It May Concern, I have known Bennett Allen for the last 7 years. I coached him when he was 10 years old, and have done private lessons with him the last 6. Over the years I have watched him grow into an amazing young man. He has grown into a leader, and a great example to anyone that he comes into contact with. This past year Bennett took time out of his busy high school schedule to come and help me coach and mentor a bunch of 9-year-old baseball players. Not only was he an asset coaching the boys the fundamentals of baseball, but he also exuded such high character showing these boys what being a great human being looked like. I’ve known Bennett for many years. I’ve known his family quite well for over 50 years. As a former president and chief operating officer for a large regional securities firm, that was listed on the New York Stock Exchange before being purchased by a major U.S. bank, I was in the position of constantly hiring and evaluating people for various positions and duties. Bennett Allen is someone whom I would hire! Why? Bennet has had an exemplary academic record – excelling in mathematics and the sciences. His GPA of 4.6+ ranks him in the top 10% of his class. Importantly, Bennett is a well-rounded person. In addition to compiling a superlative academic record, Bennett has a long and successful history in athletics – most predominantly in baseball. He can hit (batting close to .500) and pitch, and plays for one of the best club baseball teams in Arizona. Needless to say he plays for his high school varsity baseball team.
