Recommendation: It has been my pleasure to be the Coach of Abby Pharies. For the past 4 years, Abby has been the rock of my defense. Her ability to see, assess and overcome her attackers is second to no one. Abby is not just a player of the game, but a student as well, Her ability to study her opponent and her understanding of how to adjust to different formations makes her one of the most dominating defenders. She has explosive speed, quick feet and tremendous ball control while under pressure. She is a player that can control the ball, shoot and dribble with her left and right foot.
Abby is well respected by her teammates. She plays 2 years up on my G 99 team in the highest bracket in the league. She also started all games on the 2017 CalSouth StateCup Champion team which allowed only one goal the entire tournament. She has won the Coaches Player of the year award in 2016. I have a younger 2001 team of girls that strive to be a player like Abby. She is an unselfish, competitive, lead by example type of player. I would recommend Abby for any program out there.
