Crawford McCarthy is from Danbury, Connecticut and attended high school at perennial National Top-10 Salisbury School, where he was a three-year Varsity player. He then attended and played both midfield and attack for DIII powerhouse Ohio Wesleyan University before transferring to MCLA DII Concordia University.
Since college, Crawford has stayed active in the sport he loves, regularly playing club lacrosse as the West Coast Director & player for Salt Shakerz Lacrosse and with the Newport Beach Lacrosse Club, playing at several events every year like the Vail Shootout and Lake Tahoe Summit Classic.
Crawford has been involved with The Victory Way in Orange County, California since late 2008, successfully coaching every age group and every skill level – from first-year recreational players to Elite/Select players in both field and box lacrosse. He also serves as Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at St. Margaret’s Episcopal High School, where he was named 2013 US Lacrosse Assistant Coach of the Year.
Coach McCarthy lives in Aliso Viejo, California with his wife, Katie, and dogs, Ella and Ralphie.
