Eric played baseball at Cal St. Hayward and graduated with a degree in Communications.
He began his coaching career as a pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at San Jose City College. In his 9 year tenure, Eric won a conference championship and helped players transfer to major 4-year universities in the SEC, PAC 12, Big West, Big 12 and other D1 conferences.
Eric went on to Niagara University where he was the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for 3 years, making the conference tournament in each one of those years.
For the last 10 years and counting, Eric is the Field Manager for the Danville Dans of the Prospect League. He has coached them to a winning record in all 10 years and was manager of the 2019 Prospect League All-Star game. During Eric’s tenure the Dans hold 5 Prospect League records, including stolen bases, most strike outs by a pitching staff, and most runs scored. He has coached 29 players that have been drafted and has 3 former Dan’s that are currently on MLB rosters.
Eric currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
