Ryan Damon
Ryan Damon is one of the co-founders of SportsForce. Ryan was a two sport All-American lacrosse and football player in high school and former college lacrosse player and captain at University of North Carolina (1998 – 2001). He brings a wealth of hands-on competitive sports and sports sales and marketing experience to the table.
Sports have always been a major influence in Ryan’s life. Growing up in Massachusetts and Connecticut Ryan was a year-round hockey player from the age of 6 until 15 at which time he decided to give up the sport in efforts to pursue a college sports career in football and/or lacrosse. Ryan was an All-American in both football and lacrosse at Darien High School in Darien, Connecticut. Although he was recruited for both football and lacrosse, in college Ryan decided to focus on lacrosse only and went on to be a four year letter winner and Captain of the University of North Carolina Lacrosse team. Ryan currently fulfills his love for the sport of lacrosse through his role as the assistant coach at Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon and also plays for the Marin Lacrosse Club out of San Francisco, CA which includes notable professional lacrosse players; Kyle Harrison, The Powell Brothers, Mickey Jarboe, Todd Eichleberger, and Lorne Smith.

– Darien High School Single Season Rushing Record
– CT State Champion for both Football and Lacrosse 1996-97 seasons (team MVP for both Sports)
– Co-MVP 1997 North-South All-American Game
Biggest Sports Thrills to date:
– Winning State Championships in both Football and Lacrosse in his Senior Year of HS (first ever State Championship in Lacrosse for DHS)
– Beating Duke lacrosse in double overtime to clinch NCAA playoff birth at UNC
– Winning first Oregon State Championship as coach of Lincoln High School
Other Sports Interests:
Aside from being a former high school and collegiate athlete in lacrosse and football, Ryan continues to pursue athletic adventures in hobbies that include Kite Boarding, Snowboarding, Cycling, Triathlons, Squash, Golf and pretty much anything else that involves competition. Teaching, competing and seeking new adventures in sport is what drives Ryan’s life.
